Marigold Fund was created in recognition of the daunting, interlocking crises our world faces, and the fact that even amidst despair and fear, life wants to live.
We believe that today the biggest obstacle to resolving the climate crisis, among many others, is systemic corruption. While corruption fosters a vicious cycle of isolation, violence, hopelessness, and ignorance, many people are building solidarity–through shared interests and benefits, compassionate truth-telling, and creative expression–as a powerful and practical antidote.
We champion people who bring heart, commitment, and skills to address the root drivers of the climate emergency and to build a society that serves the well-being and dignity of humans and all species.
As we channel resources to support communities and groups engaging in this necessary and multifaceted work, we do our best to abide by the following principles:
